Charlie is 5. What? My art for the day included some chocolate muffins and an owl made out of fruit for school. This guy is growing up!

Charlie has all sorts of ideas about what I need to do for him. He loves to decide on things I can draw so he can paint them. We spent a little time in the studio in hopes I could hang some new paintings for art walk while he played. He demanded a tiger. So I sketched and loved him instead of working. We have had a tough few days. I hope he keeps enjoying coming to the studio with me.

Bought an enormous canvas at Plaza Art in Nashville. Getting ready to drop David at the airport for a long music run so Charlie and I stayed in Nashville this week to be with him while we could.

Get Bunko away from the warehouse and more painting gets done!

I don’t care if I paint 400 sun and moon paintings this year. I need to paint them.

I haven’t had much time for acrylic painting. I had a tiny canvas and a giant one. Chose the tiny 4 inch canvas. We made it to Nashville to see David before he jets across the pond to England. We will be missing him most of September. Sitting around on the holiday working, playing, painting and kissing.

I’ve been in a manic episode all about house projects. I will say most every day art has been happening but I haven’t had time to document. Hoping to make a September comeback.

Listening to the kewl guys play jazz while guzzling a draft Blue moon with an orange slice. Charlie loves his cheese pizza. All we have are crayons so crayons it is.

David’s home for a few days and that allows for an early morning bike ridge to work! Never forget to bring the spinach!
